All daughters portrayed come from parents with money and non appreciate their parents. Money isn't everything but it makes their problems seem insignificant. You gotta remember "too much love" seems to be the main issue here.

So many american movies are set in the upper classes living in New York, without really acknowledging it. These movies seem to portray that's what normal life is, even though its a fantasy life only lived by a few.
I'm bored of seeing movies where the main character is a rock photographer, or a bra designer who's dating a model. This movie seemed like something from 2003. It was so basic, the only pleasure in watching it is making fun of it.
