Hillbilly narrator
A really bad version of Waylon Jennings balladeer?
shareHe is awful on this show. He fits swamp people fine but doesn't fit this show at all. Not to mention his script is terrible.
shareLol, I just verified my account to agree with this.
It is super annoying to hear him talk. He is an excellent Narrator, but I just do NOT think he fits this show.
It makes it cheesy.
However, I absolutely LOVE the show. I want more. I watched it all in 1 sitting.
Could not agree more. It's more than a little irritating.
shareIt's like listening to the Dukes of Hazzard.
Just need some banjo music during the auctions.

Yeah, it reminded me of Dukes Of Hazzard.
I love Dukes Of Hazzard, too. Was my favourite show when I was growing up.
EXACTLY!!! I keep expecting him to come up with something like "Now, how are Bo and Luke gonna git outta this one now that ol' Roscoe's on their tail?"
Drop the hick announcer. He's trying too hard.
It's Texas, the biggest hillbilly state in the country.Do you expect the announcer to sound like Mr Bellvedere? He reminds me of a cross between dukes of hazard and the old grizzly Adams narrator.

Texas is hardly a "hillbilly state."
Texas is the richest state in the nation and has a TON of money & geographic diversity.
You can't say that about ANY other state!
Happy Valentine's Day!
I'm from Texas and proud of my accent. There is nothing more irritating, and insulting to Texans, than a fake accent. If you want a Texan to narrate, get a real one.
