Did I Miss Something???

Either I missed something early on or this really didn't make any sense and was totally implausible because of it.......in the Coast Guard station weren't they talking about a plane that just flew low and crashed within the last 24 hours? If so then it makes no sense that Van Damm was able to not only put this team together so quick, but also get Orlando Jones in there early, and know so much about Henry. That's too many pieces to put together in a few hours because he'd have to do research ahead of time......And to those who might say he did it ahead of time just in case........Think about it. The plane will cover a lot of area over a lot of water. To be prepared like that would take a whole lot of territory to research people along the way....And remember.....They won't keep flying the same routes.

Anyway the whole premis seems silly at best
