Van Damme As A Bad Guy?
Really sad, they forced a wonderful actor to play a badass, when he was always cast as a good guy, but even does a good job in this role, as he does in any role
shareHe started out as bad guys ( Black eagle, No retreat, no surrender ), played the villain in Replicant and more recently Expendables 2. Im sure if we used Google there would be other examples as these are just off the top of my head. I personally don't mind him being the bad guy so long as it's a good part in a movie where they at least tried to do a good job. It's nice that this movie wasn't filmed in eastern Europe, with poor editing and cheap dubbing like so many other action movies of the last few years. Just an example here but Steven Seagal ( of whom I was a massive fan ) seems to always be the good guy but in cheap horribly made productions that really does show how far his star has fallen ( the exception being Machete ).JCVD always does his best and this shows even in these b-movies be he the hero or villain.
