It suddenly occurred to me that with 6 eps per "series" (or generation as it seems to be with Simm and Peake slated for only the first 6?) and a few dozen planned, I might be dead before it ends if it's 6 per year. :-))
Will they show 6 episodes per series like other shows do with a year between each? Or is this just a continuous show more along the lines of "Lark Rise"?

Six episodes each spread over a period of years it would seem. It got good reviews and an audience of 7 million on its opening so I think the sarky comments by some of these posters about it are not especially typical.

If you think some posters are a trifle sarcastic go on the Hobbit board, then you will see what sarcasm means.
NB: These boards are basically, to make comments[ whether good or bad] about a film etc NOT about a person making them.
