At last someone continues the Dog Soldiers spirit

It's got nothing to do with DS, but the essence of the film is kept alive in this one. The claustrophobic and confined, yet brittle space of the train is just as vivid as in the cottage in DS.
Good pace, and some good FX makes me want more. Been a long time since DS, and it's about time we carried the baton on...

I kept thinking of that one as well, probably because of the UK setting in a remote forrest.

I liked the movie, but Dog Soldiers was freaking hilarious all the way through in spite of being extremely gory. I wish Howl had that morbid sort of humor to it.

Agreed, Dog Soldiers wouldn't have been anywhere near as good if it wasn't for the squadie humour - can you imagine if Hollywood did it but set in America with Rangers, or worst USMC, along with the typical hurrah god bless MURRICA?
