Bad ending decision. *spoiler*

Given what happened, & what he did to her, why the Hell didn't they have the Scottish woman (who we never saw killed!) come back as a wolf & kill the nasty guy?!

Having Joe turned was too downbeat, tainted his sacrifice & just wasn't satisfying, whereas all those problems would be avoided...and end more vengefully satisfying...if reveal had been the Scottish woman getting him.

So yet again in a modern horror film, a silly decision weakens the movie right at the end.

Well, as we never really see what ultimately happened to her it's up for debate. Could be the creature just killed her, but I guess it's possible she was "turned" as well given what happened to Joe later on.

I did kinda expect to see her at the end too, delivering some karmic justice to Adrian.

I'm actually thinking that she did get turned and was the wolf Joe was fighting in the end, which is why that wolf was fighting off the other wolves.

I too was hoping for some karmic revenge but, alas, that would have taken the spotlight away from our "hero" for five seconds and this movie just wasn't having it.

(And it is just me or was his sacrifice pretty pointles? The creatures weren't that fast, and they spent fo-re-ver arguing about him staying behid - seemed to me they could have used that precious minutes to get BOTH the hell away from there.)

Yeah, instead of blowing time squabbling, they should've just RAN.

It's a decent werewolf flick and good in many ways, but there's no meat on the bones. It's pointless in the end. Maybe that's the nihilistic non-message?

Are we sure that was Joe in the end? At first I thought it was but the fave shot made him look like Matt, the guy who ran into the forest with the ax.
