Trailer is misleading

It looked like an old couple, mildly bored from each other, rediscovering love in Paris and spending time with their friend (goldblum). Like a sweet story.

In reality it was an annoying couple, woman actually hating the husband, rudely running away from restaurants without paying and leaving their friend's party without saying goodbye, only to call him when they are broke. Felt no sympathy for them.

LOL. Trailers are often misleading. Perhaps you should stick to Mother Goose and fairy tales. This was a realistic couple. Open your mind.

then the trailer should have indicated that. no point in making a trailer if you're not going to show what kind of film it is.

basically acting like your stereotypical older british couple visiting paris.

if you're looking for a romantic comedy where a british couple goes to paris in an attempt to rekindle their love for one another, try "the love punch" with emma thompson and pierce brosnan. it's kind of bad but eh, if you're in the mood for a lame romcom, that might fit the bill...

He didn't say it was wrong, but that the trailer was misleading.

it is annoying when trailers don't give a proper indication of what the film is like. There seem to be quite a few misleading ones around.
