Finally it's getting interesting

This series is finally hitting its stride. I actually found myself a little excited in anticipation of episode 5. (I don't know how I stuck with it before that, though.) I'm even more excited to see episode 6. but I'm a little worried now because I think the program is better than the impression it gave in the first few episodes; I'm concerned that it won't have enough viewers to make it to series 2 because people that already gave up on it won't give it another chance.

I'm worried because I'd really like to see the different threads of the story resolved, and you know that they won't resolve everything in one series unless it was never meant to go beyond one season. I remember a wonderful series called LILIES that was canceled after the first series and consequently some great plot lines were left unresolved.

Episode 4 seemed to me really interesting but only thanks to Miss Glendenning aka Elaine Cassidy, and maybe Sarah Lancaster and few other secondary characters.
Moray and Denise are same uninteresting and boring as earlier, or, just get them married and send away somewhere)

Episode 4 was very good. I liked the relationship between Lord and Katherine Glendenning in that episode. They had some fantastic scenes together: The croquet, burnt toast, post shooting scenes and the final scene where she was made to tell Adler the truth were all fantastic.

The other plot with Miss Audrey and her issues was also very good. A bit silly, in a way, but very fun to watch.

I loved Lilies. I still can't believe they cut it off like that and never even made a film or something to wrap up the stories. It's like what they did with The House of Elliot.

The paradise isn't even close to Lilies, I agree, but I agree with the OP that I hope they get to wrap up any loose ends left hanging.

Great news - the Paradise is not going the way of Lilies. The BBC has already commissioned a second series:
