Lily Cole as Lillian Gish
If Lillian Gish is shown in the movie, don't you find that Lily Collins could be a great choice to play her ?
shareI think she has a similar look. She'd have to thin out those eyebrows, though. Thinner brows were popular then.
I haven't seen her in anything, so I don't know if she can act.
I don't know who Lillian Gish is but Lily Cole is so beautiful I don't think anyone would care about her eyebrows. In "Moth Diaries", her hair is dyed black and her eyebrows look dark & larger than usual but as a model and in the movie, "The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus", she is very fair complected so her eyebrows are barely visible. To me, her face looks like a doll's face...and I mean that as a compliment. It looks like porcelain. She's also not one of those models who are ridiculously thin with no shape. Her acting seemed good to me but I'm not a critic. Just a fan. :)
Edit: I should have looked up Lillian Gish first-that's true. I was responding more to the person who said her eyebrows were too thick. I think he/she was thinking of Lily Collins. Lily Cole is a reddish haired model.
I don't want to offend you, but if you don't know who Lillian Gish is you can just look it up on this site.

In this situation, I don't think it matters that she knows much about Lillian Gish other than her name. She clearly knows what she looks like, because if you googled the name she mentioned, Lily Cole, she looks SPOT on for Lillian Gish.
