In the scene where Marianne tries to introduce her daughter to Eva

Watching this scene, it was hard to believe that Marianne's daughter wouldn't make the connection or at least mention that she recently met her father's new girlfriend who happens to have the same name as her mother's new confidant.

I thought that, too...but then it got me thinking. Their daughter didn't seem too interested in the restaurant in Eva that the name may have slipped by her.

That daughter was horrible and I'm pretty sure she really wouldn't be interested in anything about her parents so she didn't really bother with the her dad's new girlfriend or moms new friend.

I thought Tessa was stuck and snobby just like Maryann. However she did seem to cate for her dad when he and Eva were going through a rough patch.

I agree that she wasn't the type to notice or care that her mother's friend has the same name as the woman her father is dating. Plus, in this scene she was not feeling well, which is why she didn't stick around to meet Eva when Eva disappeared. So, even less likely to think about the "coincidence". She just wanted to go back to her room and lay down.
