The ending (um, major spoilers, naturally)

So, I thought the way they saw each other in the airport at the very end, and simply acknowledged each other with a little wistful smile, was the perfect way to end this story. They both know that they have deep feelings for each other, but they also know that they are destined to go on to live separate lives. And they're OK with that.

Not all movies have to have a Hollywood ending. This was perfect in my opinion.

I agree. It was an absolutely perfect ending. The two people who SHOULD be together (Kara and Jeff) end up together, and the other two go their separate ways.

It isn't the ending audiences typically want, but it's the ending the two characters NEED. They need to move on, and allow themselves to heal and grow as people.

Very good film. Very, very touching.
