Soundtrack/score?
God I loved it so much! It was crazy beautiful. I want to download the sh!t outta that.
Any news about a soundtrack being released? Or is it online somewhere already in some dark corner of the web?
I second this request. I loved the song and it really moved me. This short blew me away. I enjoyed it more than any short pixar had made.
shareCompletely agree. While Pixar shorts are definitely imaginative, this short just took a very simple story and made it into something...I don't know. Perfect or sublime or something. It was just wonderfully done. I wish live-action films were presented in as beautiful a way more often.
Apparently, the score is going to be released on itunes in the coming weeks! EEEEEEEE! Now we just have to wait for the short itself to be released on dvd at some point!
I hope they don't just release it on iTunes! I want it in lossless CD (or even more than that at HDtracks.com) quality!
I've seen uploads on youtube already and I have no idea where they got it from but it's definitely legit.
And we should say the composer's name more often, Christophe Beck is the musical genuis behind this short!
Does CD have higher quality than ITunes? I've always wondered that.
I've noticed the uploads online, but I've also noticed they have a couple weird noises not in the theatrical version, like this sort of scratchy, seemingly intentional beat in the last stretch of the piece, and this sort of electronic beat in the stretch when he's first throwing the planes.
Any idea when? Oh I can't wait; it was such a gorgeous piece of music and one of the things that made Paperman such a perfect short. Loved every single second of it, but the music in particular was just enchanting.
