This is a ripoff of "Signs", and I'm sorry to say, Signs is much better.

Totally agree!

Honestly, this is the reason why I couldn't enjoy it as much as I wanted to. I don't think the majority of the audience who saw this short saw the short film Signs http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1377575/ by Patrick Hughes.

Anyone who saw Signs then saw Paperman can't deny they're too similar in both narrative and concept.

nah, I would say say signs is a rip off of office space without the printer and the stapler. But then that is just me.
