It actually looks pretty good

I haven't said that about a Vince Vaughn movie in awhile.

I have to say I agree, especially with that over inflated crap about working at google with it's endless ads on everywhere at the moment. This is a nice change of pace for him. I actually went awwwe watching the trailer and really laughed at the kid slapping the friends face. This I might actually pay for and go to see.

Have to disagree. This film is a carbon copy of an excellent french-canadian film called starbuck. From the jokes that I saw in the trailer they all look like bad copies

reply

Everything gets copied now days, it doesn't mean I can't like this one. I liked both American and Swedish version of Let the Right one in but I did not want to see the American version of The girl with the dragon tattoo. I don't have a frame of reference for this so for me it looked good. Who are you to tell me other wise, it's my opinion which one I like or if I ever watch the original.

I wasn't preventing you from sharing your opinion, I was simply sharing mine.

reply

Well, it's made by the same guy...

I really like the concept but the trailer looks corny as hell. I am not saying it can't be a good movie but I didn't see anything that made me confident this will that great.

I am not a Vaughn fan and only liked him in Wedding Crashers, Old School and Dodgeball when he was working with great material and playing pretty much the same character. He wasn't bad in Swingers but I think that film is slightly overrated. Everything he has done the last 8 years that I have seen has been horrid.

reply

Same here. I initially skipped watching the trailer but decided to watch it anyway, and was pleasantly surprised. I haven't really liked any of Vinces latest movies, but this one I might actually watch. Will have to wait for the reviews to come out first though.

"Are you not entertained?!"

reply

I like Vince. This is a timely subject, and I prefer him taking a stab at it than Adam Sandler or Ben Stiller.

It was Rhoda's medal.

reply

Exact same thought. Quickly judged it as some stupid Vince Vaughn movie but grew quite fond of it from the trailer

I'll let the reviews guide me
