Missed Opportunities to Create real Conflict...(spoiler)

I hated the way the film glossed over Kristen's drug abuse. David had a real serious choice to make, either send her for treatment or sign her release, and he blew it. The message here is that her new job at Bloomingdale's cured her addiction. Just like that. Poof!

I really wished that he had made the hard decision to send her to rehab and have her hate him for it (in the short run) or had her lie to him about the job and he calls her on it.

The whole idea that she's a hopeless drug addict one minute and then next day she's clean, with no repercussions, killed the film for me.

It reminded me of sitcoms from the 80's where life's every problem could be solved in less than 30 minutes....

I'm sorry but I don't get it. Let's just say I accept the premise because okay- it's a movie- still...

1. What about the voice of all these kids adoptive parents/ mothers??
2. Things glossed over like the girl is a drug addict then fine the next day? Is he really going to keep visiting his disabled son?
3. If you have that many half siblings there is going to be dating and sex among the kids- no question.
4. Why didn't Viggo just expose him? He prob could have made millions.
5. Why would the chick from HIMYM stay with him?
6. That many women want the sperm of an incompetent truck driver?
7. Why was this movie made?
8. Why do people like it?
9. Why does Vince Vaughn have a career?

Viggo wouldn't do that it was like he said he wanted his dad all to himself.

RIP Cory Monteith your fans miss you dearly
