My favorite part about this movie

True. I also liked when he was getting to know his kids. That was probably my favorite part.

I did like the scenes with David getting to know his kids.

My favorite part was the interaction with the kids. Loved that the kids were all over the map--straight, gay, athlete, handicapped, hot, nerd, good, bad, even got an offspring-of-color in there.

My favorite character was the father. That was a lovely scene about the sadness of disappointing your parents. So glad they didn't cut it for being too much of a pause in the action.

I was absolutely certain there would be some misunderstanding to make all the kids hate him, followed by a big passionate speech from one of the kids to convince everyone otherwise. This movie surprised me over and over, in a good way.
