Or we could be playing as Woods who stages a jail break. Loved that part in BO where Mason and Reznov make a break for it!

Reuse is something the Fanboys wouldn't like.

You're kidding right? The entire franchise has been a reskin of the last game since Call of Duty 4...

if it aint broke, dont fix it! im happy with my Cod just the way it is. I would like to see a new rebuild, as would alot of players - but if it diminishes the awesome multi-player in any way, people will get very angry, very quick and i dont think activision want to risk that.
shareThere's no reason they couldn't update the engine and change up the singleplayer while still keeping multiplayer the same.
Anyway, I've totally got my fingers crossed for this scenario: You play as Woods, who leads a revolution and attempted escape from the retirement home. Your only weapon? Woods' walker.
There is, unseen by most, an underworld...a place that is just as real, but not as brightly lit...
That was my, admittedly under-developed, point. The entire series has been the COD4 engine reused since then yet the OP says "reuse" would upset the fanboys when the absolute opposite is the case - the same game year-in, year-out is what keep them happy!
