Problem with the name

This is just a random rant. The name of the show means the opposite of what the show is about. This show is about young adults leaving the Amish community but its called Breaking Amish, which means becoming Amish. The phrases "breaking loose", "breaking free", and "breaking bad" mean breaking out of a place/state of confinement and becoming loose, free, or bad. I can be the only one who has noticed this.

They are breaking away from the Amish. That's what I thought it was supposed to mean.

I interpret it as breaking away from the Amish.
