I love this show, and I believe that only the original cast seasons are real.
The LA one was obviously fake.
And this new season seems like it to:
Vonda is wearing red, which is completely against the rules.
Bates' girlfriend/wife is wearing nail polish and makeup.
Bates' girlfriend is ex-Amish.

His wife didn't grow up Amish, she grew up Mennonite and their culture is slightly less restrictive. And if you notice, it would appear that many of the cast members, including Matt and Miriam, also have cell phones.
