How much Micmac language?
IMDb says that this movie is in English and Micmac. Can anyone who's seen it tell me how much Micmac is in it? Is it just a few words here and there, or are there whole conversations/monologues in Micmac? Thanks!
shareHi, there is a 6 minute story told by an elder in the middle of the film. it is all in mi'gmaq. it is told by the actress Katherine Sorbey who is a fluent speaker and teacher of the language.
there is also a smattering of the language throughout the film. lines of dialogue here and there. Though i'd say overall it's 80-85% in english.
