Hey guys nice to meet all of you here. Let me start off by saying that I know this is a movie site. But compared to Mass Effect 3 and Resident Evil 6, these boards are slow. I wonder why. Because Borderlands 2 is one of the best, and more popular games out there. I'm surprised that there isn't a larger following.
shareYeah I thought so too.. I like discussing games on imdb because its usually a different crowd than typical gaming forums. I don't really even know of anywhere you can have decent "general" discussions about games besides here.. If anyone knows of any I'd be interested to know.
But yeah, idk there are more people here now that its been out a bit but its still pretty new. I guess also lots of people don't think to get on imdb to talk about a game like this. With games like red dead and la noire you have a game that's much more like a movie, so I can see why they'd get more attention on here.
I've never been on a gaming forum. I have viewed them and they're not for me. I completely agree with everything you said though. Especially story driven games being more popular here. Though I will say the plentiful references (like the ninja turte one for example) are things that could be discussed.

I think the reason is mainly because this is a movie forum and
many people assume this not to be a place to discuss video games.
I happen to play Borderlands on Steam and on there is a lot of
discussion of this game on their forums.
If you really want to talk about this game I would suggest going
to Steam forum.
It is difficult to free fools from the chains they revere.
