I heard the last episode was the final and the show was cancelled. But, the last episode didn't seem to be final. There are still too many things to be answered.

Very disappointing season, to be honest.
The second season was better i guess since we finally got the chance to know Philip Carvel and who Milner really was. Besides, Pietre turned into a hero in this season which made him my favorite character in the show. Jessica had changed amazingly, too
For me, the air of mystery and unpredictability had peaked in season 1. Season 2 felt like it was just running the course to what had already been built/established in season 1. It was too predictable and it didn't feel like it was unraveling anything.
