The title sequence really is good, a play on the famous New Yorker cover.

I've seen the first 2 episodes and really enjoyed them. It's kind of a funny mix, not flat out going-for-the-jugular like The Thick of It but has more bite than Spin City (actually I never watched that; I was stumped for a comparison). So far, it has a tendency to wrap everything up nicely whereas a show with darker humor would've left some of the characters to rot in prison. It might have gotten more traction if it had been darker.

But I like all the characters and also like it that the Ambassador is not a complete twit. The show deserves a wider audience. I read that it might be reintroduced as a drama but I think going completely serious would be a big mistake.
