Cool. I won't be seeing it in theater, but I'll catch it on blu-ray when it comes to sale... I've seen every Bond movie in theater since Moonraker (1979), so this breaks a long tradition for me.

Wow thats an impressive track record of cinema bond. My 1st cine bond was Never Say Never Again then saw each one except LtK as was rated 15. very nearly didn't bother with Spectre but caught it in final week (cinema still packed) and yeah I won't be seeing NTTD until bluray

Going to the first showing at my local cinema Thursday morning. I'm cautiously optimistic, I hope it's on par with Skyfall if maybe not quite at the heights of Casino Royale. We'll see.

Reviews at midnight in 4 hours.

Mon dieu! Daniel Craig looks absolutely knackered 😲.

If he was a horse they'd have put him out of his misery long ago. The velvet jacket wasn't a good choice either - simply adds to the old man look.

I remember people used to laugh about Sir Roger looking too old for the part but Craig's knocked it clean out of the park here...

Roger Moore was around 58 when he starred in A View To A Kill, Craig here is only around 53.

reply

That makes it even worse! Daniel Craig must have had a very heavy paper round...

reply

I did a Sunday paper round for four years, and the British Sunday papers are BIG and HEAVY.

idk i fear it will be to sjw for me to waste money on it. i always go check em out in the movies but i think i am gonna wait till i can get a nice quality rip on the piratebay before watching this unless i hear it is really good then maybe i will cough up some dough

Same here, I'll watch a few reviews on YouTube first before committing $$. I've watched a couple of deep dives into what the plot may be, how many characters are in this thing? 10? (Bond, Blofeld, Safin, Swann, Nomi, Q, M, Paloma, Felix, MP). This is a very long Bond flick at 163 minutes. It will be amazing if they can keep the story exciting the whole way through.

reply

the fact that it is really long kinda excites me but idk at the same time my favorite James Bond movie ever made was the first one called Dr. No and it has the most simple and basic plot of any of them. what makes the movie so great isnt the writing or the story but the little things like style and beautiful shots. it is the most Bond film of all the Bond films and it doesnt need a crazy or super compilated plot to make it interesting. i turn on that film all the time just for the nostalgia value of it, watch it in the background all the time when i play videogames. what worries me is how pc and sjw things have been getting. that is what i fear the most about this film

I could easily handle the SJW stuff if they made a few jokes about it. Or at least don't harp on it, just have everybody kick ass. Some of these early reviews are looking good, so it must be a lot better than QOS or Spectre thank god.

reply

yes Spectre was the most lackluster of them. QOS had that cool plane scene in the Bolivan desert right? that scene was pretty rad but ur right it wasnt the most memorable one either. it did inspire me to go to Boliva and do a three day tour of the desert and that was pretty rad so the movie did do a good job in helping me explore the world. that is why i love bond films so much, they are full of so much action and adventure and expose u to cool places around the world

Let me know when it's streaming.

Let me know when you make it as important person.
