This looks like a typical Bond film but one targeted to a contemporary global audience

I've been watching Bond films in the theaters for the last 35 years, or so, and, honestly, the trailers look like every other Bond film except for the diverse cast. And as for that last part, why not? Those are the times we live in.

Bond's day came and went with the fall of the Soviet Union, so he really shouldn't be around at all. Now, he's kind of a cold war joke, so enjoy the over-the-top stunts and the effects and the paint-by-numbers plot. It'll be good popcorn fun.
