That would probably work but doesn't casting him in the MI franchise knock him out of the running.

Hmmmm…..interesting. You ever see him in “The Man from U.N.C.L.E.?” as Napoleon Solo? That’s where the rumors are probably coming from & what the producers must be thinking. He was pretty good in that movie but believe it or not, I actually soured on the idea of him being Bond from watching that film.

Don’t get me wrong, he was great, but watching “U.N.C.L.E” made me believe that he’s best suited for playing a certain “type” of spy/character rather than just any.

If you saw how his character was in that movie you’ll know what I’m talking about. So no based off of that movie I don’t think he’d make a good straight up Bond, but might be suitable for a likewise role of his Solo character which would be good in a Bond film.
