He's been confirmed as the director.

Wonderful director. Daniel Craig just confirmed as playing Bond yet again. I am a proud feminist, but James (never met a woman named James) Bond urinates standing up. We live in a sick, vindictive world, don’t we? Folks who want to make James Bond female want to emasculate us men, yet you already have icons such as Atomic Blonde, Red Sparrow, The Bride and Wonder Woman up to whom to look, not to mention the Helen Slater Supergirl movie.

Also Ellen Ripley and Sarah Connor. I'm not a feminist, but I don't want these characters to be recast as men as well.

Well there is nothing consistent about the Bond of the movies. How old is he? Seems to be the same age he was in the 60s. When did he start working at MI6? That is unanswerable.

Bond is less of a specific character, and more of a type.

There is at least one thing consistent across ALL James Bond movies... the name's Bond, James Bond.
