Unlikely in the Extreme (Spoilers)

Unfortunately after a realistic and interesting first half, the movie in an attempt to ramp up the action stretches the bounds of credibility to breaking point.

Mia is said to be under "detention" by the secret service (Danish equivalent)because of her perceived collusion with Rasmus, with her passport taken off her. Yet neither her residence, nor herself, appear to be under any sort of observation and Rasmus is easily able to hide in her car to kidnap her.

There doesn't appear to be any reason he does this, apart from giving her some misinformation which even she doesn't appear to believe.

Yet when the secret service free her, she passes it on without telling them what she actually does believe.

In another surprising event she is let go virtually straight away without any serious debriefing, given her stolen car back, so she can conveniently drive to the demonstration where she thinks Rasmus will actually be.

In spite of all the extra security surrounding the meeting between the US Secretary and The Danish Prime Minister, only Mia the reporter, is able to deduce where Rasmus is hiding. Wow!

Deciding to warn Borby, she borrows someone's phone and promptly rings him. Now we do know they had some sort of undefined association many years previously, but really...a reporter knows and has memorized the Head of Government's mobile phone number? And what's more when he gets an unknown call through on his phone with the US Secretary in the car... the PM promptly answers it? LOL!

And of course instead of passing on Rasmus's location to the authorities, she decides to individually act to stop/persuade him from his course of action, which leads to the obligatory suspenseful shoot out ending.

By this time unfortunately the film has transformed from a semi-realistic thriller based on real life type events into some sort of weird spy parody.

A pity.
