It is about eating less

Why resist the obvious, so you can blame everyone else for your own choices?

It's about eating healthy, not eating less. That's literally the whole message of this film.

It's really about eating healthy AND eating less. Portion size does count.

One thing that people keep missing. EAT MORE FIBER!!!!

You may be the one to poke fun at laxative or having to go to the bathroom a lot; however, if you eat foods with high sugar and fiber, you will lose weight. Fiber is key here!

Less does help but it's also eating properly.
My mom's only concern was to make sure we ate good and did not have sugar. For dinner, we always had pasta with her homemade sauce and steak, roast or meat loaf. There was also salad, beans or whatever we had in the garden. We ate cheese, salami, fresh bread, eggs and bacon.
All our family was thin. The things that were forbidden was soda, candy or store bought baked goods. My mom would bake but she would bastardize a recipe and cut out most of the sugar and butter. It was funny as these cookies had no flavour or hard as a rock but she did not want us to have sugar. Mcdonalds was only a few times a year and only if we had good report cards.
As I got older, I still appreciate what she instilled on us and I try and eat well. Avoid the fast food, the frozen food section, soda, etc...
This movie says it a world wide problem but it's mostly north america. I have been around the world and I always know when I land back home.
It's not rocket science, I just can't believe in 2016, we still need to be told how to eat.

Very true. Alternative way is to lift weights and build muscle as well. For some odd reason, I have a regime of lifting weights to strengthen biceps and forearms, everyday. It seems that the more muscle you build, the more calories it takes to feed that new muscle. I have tried eating hamburger, even a Pizza Hut Dipper pizza, and I still cannot weigh more than 145. I think I am onto something here. Of course, you have to stay consistent with it; however, it is very hard to turn muscle into fat unless you really cannot make time to lift.
