Using same clips from other films.

I noticed that they stole clips from 2012: Ice Age and 2012: Doomsday,
the 2012: Doomsday was the cyclone one in the middle of the street. :l
why did they do this...

They're all from the same company so it's for the simple reason to save money. So they don't steal clips, they use the same ones on several movies to save some hours of work. The Asylum rules!

Loads of movies reuse stock footage.

Godzilla and Super Sentai do it as well. Why should it be a big deal?
