Absolutely not Krav Maga. Krav Maga doesn't involve grabbing people with your thighs.

Soooo many people make fun of the Spinning Scissor Kick, starting with when Black Widow used it in Iron Man 2 (when a lot of folks who like looking for things to be offended at called it the "stripper pole takedown"). It's a fantastic move for a smaller, agile fighter to use against a much larger opponent.

Here's a video of a scissor kick takedown:

The video is labeled "Kung Fu" but that's a Korean flag on the wall, and the move really does have a very Tae Kwon Do flavor to it.

I found a lot of mention of scissor kicks in Krav Maga forums going back to 2005, but I can't find photos or video to confirm it's the same move.

Taekwondo is easily one of the least practical martial arts in existence. It's a terrible move, and in that video if the guy wasn't playing along he'd just slam her to the ground when she's taking an hour to climb on top of him.

I've seen two or three videos of the move used in a sparring match.

Mind you, I do think part of the reason it works is surprise. More to the point, when we're talking about Rebecca Ferguson or Scarlett Johanssen, it's even moreso, since you've got an attractive woman climbing on top of you...

(side note: "least practical" for what? Fitness? Self-confidence? Sparring? Self-defense? Aggressive hand-to-hand combat? Because the answer is "it depends" and where TKD ranks is far less important than the quality of instructor and student)

Fighting Style(wiki): http://missionimpossible.wikia.com/wiki/Ilsa_Faust

Ilsa uses a unique fighting style relying on her feline agility and use of momentum. During combat Ilsa moves graceful yet ruthless, moving in fast she uses big powerful movements to build up momentum to cause maximum effect.

A signature move of her consists of leaping or climbing onto her opponent and wrapping her legs around their head, shoulders or waist. She then twists her body and uses the momentum to knock them off balance and flick them to the floor.

She was also able to kill a man by wrapping her thighs around his neck and snap his neck.

"My aesthetic is Ilsa Faust flipping her hair after breaking a man’s neck with her thighs."

"Killer thighs move.."

"The thigh killer is Ilsa’s signature move in Mission:Impossible - Rogue Nation.Tom and director Christopher McQuarrie thought Rebecca needed to have her own brutal way of killing. It was Wade Eastwood, the film’s stunt co-ordinator, who devised the killer thigh sequence."

“We’ve all talked about what kind of fighting Ilsa Faust would do, and found this sort of robust, raw, animalistic, tough attitude. Which is so cool, because she just kicks ass like any other man you’d see. There’s elegant kicks combined with some very, very raw, brutal action.”

I just love this,a new fetishI hope this will be more in the next mission
