How does this movie have a 3.5 star rating on Dish???

That is the same as "The Usual Suspects", "Full Metal Jacket", "The Departed", "No Country For Old Men", "There Will Be Blood".

Why is this movie rated so high? Is it because of younger audiences?? I am truly asking, am I missing something?

I think because it's a really interesting and
Somewhat different ghost story and has some really strong performances.

How so? I don't consider this something the "Younger audiences" would appreciate at all
