The black Porsche robb and jp are driving at the beginning is a 1994 968 sport, but when it's on fire in the garage it's now an 80s 944, I wonder if it was just not in the budget to torch the actual car
sharethey probably weren't able to secure a torched one, but found this similar one in a junkyard somewhere. the best was when they came back and JP was "Working" on it, and as the scene breaks up rob was like "what the f were you even doing, that wouldn't have done anything to fix the car, you were just like standing there..." or something to that effect, calling him out for posturing with a grinder like he was going to be doing some sort of work on the car.
