Pixar's next classic?

The plot so far sounds interesting and the team working behind the movie is great. I really hope Pixar have a classic in their hands.

reply

So do I.
I love the original movies so much more than sequels.
As far as I know Coco is the last original movie announced by Pixar...Its all Finding Nemo, Incredibles, Cars, and Toy Story sequels.

Have you ever noticed that the people who say "DC is for adults and Marvel is for kids", are kids?

reply

Nah. It was okay but it's nowhere near as good as any Pixar classics such as Toy Story, Monster's Inc etc..

reply

It's at the same level as Pixar's best movies.

reply

Oh is it? Well, thanks for correcting me.....

reply

No problem.

reply

It's not Toy Story, Inside Out, Wall-e, of Up level, but I'd say.. Ratatouille level? I really like Ratatouille but it's also not... one of Pixar's TOP, yk?

It's cute/charming, to say the least.

reply

It stands shoulder to shoulder with their very best.

reply

nope this is mid-level Pixar at most, nowhere near the classics.

reply

Mid-level at most, huh. Mid-level at most. Mid-level at most, X says.

Well, that’s like, your opinion, man. And yes, this is clearly and predictably how others up in this joint feel. However, fortunately the meh ‘reviews’ this film is getting in this reactionary-filled place isn’t reflective of how the majority feels. No really, it’s cool to know reality paints a way different picture for this - rightfully - highly acclaimed film (and the same goes for many other beloved films, particularly newer films, that usually get thrown shade by raging film nerds).

Coco A+++
