Case settled November 2014

The following two paragraph are taken from the November 9, 2014 edition of the New York Daily News.

The Central Park Five, (from left) Korey Wise, Antron McCray, Kevin Richardson, Raymond Santana and Yusef Salaam, had convictions in a 1989 rape case overturned after spending years in jail. A $41 million settlement with the city was approved this year.

The Central Park Five are getting paid. The cops and prosecutors involved in the case are off the hook. And the justice system will go on like none of it ever happened.

That's good to know that they finally got a settlement, and that they can finally close that chapter of their lives, and move on----I figured that it would probably be another five years or so before they ever saw a dime. The fact remains though, that no amount of money could ever bring back those lost years of their lives that was snatched from him, and the fact that there are people out there who are always going to believe they're guilty, despite the lack of evidence to prove that.

There is clear evidence that they were guilty of many crimes that night, just not the rape of this jogger. It's sickening to me that these criminals are going to be millionaires just because they were convicted of the wrong crimes. Only in America.

Good to see that a person involved in the case is posting on IMDB
