reply

what the hell do that got to do with the injustuce he displayed as well as being wrong and not knowing what the fuc he was talking about,RACIST ASS WHO HAPPENS TO HAV MONEY.AND YOU MUST BE TO TO SAY SUM SIMPLE MINDE *beep* LIKE THAT DUMMY

reply

My guess is probably not. He has probably long since forgotten about it.

Isn't it funny to see him in 1989? And to realize that he looks almost exactly the same? The same bombastic blowhard then and now. Hasn't changed a whit. And talks in almost exactly the same way? And still pulls the exact same BS publicity stunts in the media?

reply

No. And he shouldn't.

And he's currently being attacked by liberal idiots on Twitter because he said even though the five didn't rape the girl, they were still criminal, violent thugs who beat people up for fun.

reply

Yes, and he should.
These particular kids, who were arrested, were NOT criminal, violent thugs who beat people up for fun. Or else there would of been someone who would of come forward as a witness, implicating them for other beatings as well. NONE of these kids had a criminal history, you are just ignorant.

"...insert corny quote here"

reply

they admit that they were in a large group "wilding" that night - beating anyone unlucky enough to cross their path. they were arrested and questioned about these crimes before the jogger was even discovered. they were criminals. YOU are obviously too ignorant to understand this. they didn't beat the PARTICULAR jogger in question because at the time THEY WERE BUSY BEATING OTHER JOGGERS.
trump shouldn't apologize because he still stands by what he said. the ad did not name the specific defendents in this case. it spoke of "roving bands of wild criminals" and called for the death penalty "when they kill."

reply

Did you or did you not just watch the same documentary that I just watched? There is no point in the film that any of the individuals says I MYSELF DID NOT BEAT THE PARTICULAR JOGGER BUT WAS BEATING OTHER JOGGERS.

this is a well-made movie, but it is very one-sided and deliberately left out evidence of their guilt.
the movie explicitly states that reyes' confession in 2002 was the first time a walkman was mentioned. this is untrue. kharey wise mentioned one of the group members stealing her walkman to detective jonza on 4/21/89, 13 years before reyes' supposedly revealed that he stole her walkman. wise couldn't have known about the walkman unless he was there. even the police did not know she had a walkman.
two of wise's friends testified at the trial that he confessed to them seperately and said that he had held the woman's legs, but he didn't rape her.
the injuries to the victim are inconsistent with the way reyes' confession says it happened and the prosecution had stated at the original trial that the defendants were certainly not the only people involved in the attack and that the semen did not belong to any of the five defendants. reyes' confession doesn't change anything besides the fact that he claims he did it alone, knowing he was going to spend the rest of his life behind bars regardless. at the time he confessed he was incarcerated with wise and could easily have been coerced into saying he acted alone.
this movie left a lot out to tell only one side of the story.

But where to find the missing pieces Itsalltears?

The term "wilding" was really blown up and exaggerated by the press back then. I'm old enough to remember when the actual trial went down, and frankly, these kids didn't have a chance in hell at the time of getting a fair trial due to all the media hype which pretty much declared them guilty before they were even convicted, and I remember hearing Donald Trump's ad in the paper declaring that they should get the death penalty at the time. After finding out about his history of discrimination (not much different from the other Donald--the baseball team owner)I pretty much couldn't stand him and his bull**** grandstanding, especially about Obama's birth certificate, and his joke of a campaign for President, where he looked and sounded like a complete fool. Talk about someone whose fame has gone to his head for far too long. Plus that ad was racist as hell anyway when you think about it--he's never done anything similar to a white guy accused of heinous crimes. And the way he went after Obama was insane as hell, if you think about it. It's as if he lost his damn mind (like a lot of other white folks) simply because we had a black President, and Trump's crazy a** couldn't handle that---that's why he tried to discredit him at every opportunity. Fck him and his arrogant loudmouth a** anyway.

There was also that Prime Time ABC news special in 2002, which was the first (and only, for a long time) program which did a report on how the boys (now men) finally got exonerated of the crime----it's on YouTube, I believe. And,no, he's never apologized for putting out that fcked-up ad from back then.

This was posted 3 years ago. It wouldn't surprise me if you are now one of the racists who supports him and still believe they are guilty.

If I don't reply, you're probably on my ignore list for something I forgot already

That cowardly bigot will never apologize, nor will the uneducated simpletons who judged those men when they were children. They judged those people without even receiving all the facts and spewed their hatred on the air. I guess he assumes if he never speaks of that advertisement, people will not remember.

He and so many individuals should apologize for speaking spiteful remarks, but I know any individual who judged those men are too pathetic and spineless to admit their wrongdoing. People in this world just love to judge others without receiving the truth and believing what is displayed in the news.

Viewing the documentary about their story may be a first for me, but watching that really made me dislike this species even more. If any of the men read this, I apologize on behalf of the vacant mind dolts who will never apologize how they treated you and the pain they caused your family. I hope you continue to sue for defamation of character, wrongful arrest and public humiliation. You deserve justice, and I will stay positive all of you will receive that.
