Hiddleston as Bond

Just under 2 hours

Make it more fun and less serious. The gritty reboot era in Hollywood that was kicking off when Craig's run started is over and the meta, not so serious, for-the-fans era is in

We got Blofeld in Spectre, give us some Jaws in this one

Simplify the plot a tad. Don't make dummies like me have to see it twice to fully grasp what's happening

It seems you’d be better off with the Austin Powers series. You don’t understand Bond, James Bond, at all. The Moore Bond films were a travesty.

The word I used was “travesty,” not “parody.” I guess you need to see EVERYTHING twice before you understand it.

Different eras, my friend. Back then, they hired with the idea that a Bond film would come out every two years. They even tried to get back on that track with Craig.

By now, I'm pretty sure they know that's not happening in today's movie world. Whoever takes over the role, I'm sure they'll be considering how many movies they can get out of him before he's 50, and I'm thinking they'll want someone with the potential to do around 5 films.

My guess is that the next Bond will be under 35 for his first outing, unless they decide specifically go with an "older Bond" angle. I also doubt they'll recast and keep within the current continuity. I think those days are over.
