Spectre had the worst

title song ever. Had to mute this singer's whiney vocals.

...And it won the Oscar for Best Song.

I'm not that keen on it myself, but it's not outright terrible IMO.

Actually, I'd like to see the Bond franchise try another instrumental theme (no vocals) a la OHMSS.

Actually, I really liked it. It reminded me of the lush songs of John Barry (of course, I am not really comparing Sam Smith to the master).

And YOUR Suggestion for having an instrumental theme for the next Bond movie is an excellent one. I feel that the string quartet Bond (not as a gimmick) would be perfect.

Kara, we're inside a Russian army base in the middle of Afghanistan.

The song has grown on me, but along the same lines, the Title sequence is easily the worst ever made! Putting Craig, shirtless, in the middle of a screen with a giant octopus behind him? So ridiculous and corny and including so many sequences from within the film? How lazy could they get?? They used to make them much more subtle, and in relation to the mission and story, but now, they just hit you over the head with absolutely no originality.

Despite being a Bond fan, I think most of the series' title sequences are a little silly. The one for Casino Royale is probably my favorite.

Casino Royale = best song and title sequence, at least as far as matching everything. It was even cool how they transitioned into it from the gunshot. All of that red!
