Exactly. Unfortunately, this is the approach to the majority of Craig's action sequences, save for SF and one or two in QOS. They lack any sense of strategic thinking or wit which should shape Bond action sequences.

Yeah, the whole movie disappointed me. Which is a shame because it could've been wonderful. They had what appeared to be an unlimited budget. A great crew. Terrific actors. In short, they had all the ingredients necessary to make a fine and memorable film -- except a story.
I think this movie cost in excess of $200 million.
