Would Psycho pass still work if it were a live action?

I felt that this was one of the few animes which would work as a live-action feature length film as well (by trimming the side plots. of course).

A TV series would be probably dragging it. I don't think there can be that many episodes if it's just an adaptation of Season 01. A TV series would probably work if all the canon is brought under one rug.

It would work, but it would be dismissed as a Minority Report ripoff and relegated to cult status. So it wouldn't do well financially.
