summed this doco up when she said, Oh, we doing this film to try your solve your problem of guilt for participating in the dilution and eradication of Jewishness in North America, stemming from not raising your kids Jewish and not being very Jewish yourself in your day to day life.

She cut right into it.

Very interesting to hear over and over again in this piece of how contentment is the death of funny, and now, these grandkids of the holocaust are not as funny as the grandparents, according to the director, maybe (not totally clear on his message.)

One thought, people in the Southern US are still hilarious. It is a huge part of the culture. Not as much of a complaining schtick as the Jewish stereotypical humor, but some of the observations or comments to others are of the same nature, but just a different culture. So they are hilarious, even though they are more and more content with each generation.
