no mention of Jerry Seinfeld or Mel Brooks!?

reply

There was mention of Seinfeld's characters. Comment was that the characters on the Seinfeld show may not have had Jewish names, but they were, in fact, "Jewish"! Agree on the Mel Brooks (& Carl Reiner) omission. They should have been interviewed.

I assumed the team behind this movie reached out to everyone and only those who were interested took part in this movie. Heck, even a few of the guys in the beginning didn't even seem like they wanted to be part of it!

The interviewer was kind of an idiot.

He was trying to be an idiot. That was his schtik. Worked, too; he got terrific responses.

The man revolutionized stand-up comedy, but his name wasn't even mentioned.

And he's the best comedian ever!

I think it's because he's attacked every group and all the fascists on Earth, spoke his mind and got him into trouble that he was effectively blacklisted almost his entire career.
