Proud of Patty
Even though I thought Patty was a wimp, she proved me wrong. Have to say I'm really surprised at her decision and yet at the same time proud of her. She's a real trooper. Sorry she had to get sick though.

Her decision was the most self-interested one she could have made—she slyly and strategically got herself DQ'd from the hero's challenge (which, in all probability, she would fail and be eliminated), she got to appear to be selfless to the viewers, and she gained favor with the rest of the group because both she and The Rock made it a point to let everyone know, repeatedly, what she had "done" for Rachel (read:she engaged in rank self-promotion). On that last point, that's the first time I can remember The Rock directly informing another contestant that a temptation had been turned down, or a contestant humblebragging to the rest of the group about turning down a temptation.
And that's not even getting into the fact that the windows on the bus were open, she got to use her shirt to cover her face, and she only had to stay on for a minute. Yet she's so weak, she was still wallowing around and dry heaving like a beached whale afterwards.
Its a shame you have to look at it that way. Goes to show what a jerk you are and how selfish you are. You would probably let the other person suffer just for the fun of it. Guess its a good thing you're not on the show, You would be as big of a jerk as shawn. JERK

especially after tonight's episode, Patty would be my favorite contestant by a LONG SHOT if she would just freaking STOP CRYING EVERY 5 SECONDS ABOUT EVERYTHING.

You are absolutely right. Dry heaving can be faked, as shown. Give me a break, had that been real gas, she would have been on her knees immediately. End of story. Having been gassed by both CS and CN I can tell you, it hurts. I am prior military.
Patty the pig will most likely win, her challenges were hand picked. Geez anyone can walk across two building the way she was strapped up. But the producers want America to feel for her as a mother. She is no HERO. Except maybe to her kids. She deserves nothing. Since I DVR the show, I fast forward through anything Patty.

stupid argument. you can say the same thing about any of their challenges with this logic. maybe you have no fear of heights, but for someone who does, this was HUGE. and they have had several challenges that occur high up in the air, so to say this particular one was hand picked for her is absurd. these stunts are rigged up well in advance of a person being chosen to attempt them. share

do you have any idea how much preparation is required and the time that goes into setting up those high altitude stunts? you think they just did that on the fly once they learned who was going to be doing it? wow you're dumb. and i guess you forgot that Patty wasn't involved in any other high altitude challenge.
