The scene towards the end with the family in the car (spoilers)


...where Ravi's mom finally comes around to the idea that her son's happiness was more important than whatever cultural expectations her family had for him was extremely powerful and moving.

That's what life is all about people. It made the entire film worth watching and it made me cry :(

You could tell she was still upset, but let it got because she loves her son.

I was so proud of her at that moment. Her love of her son was most important. That is the true meaning of parental love.
