Could they have made the subtitles ANY SMALLER?!

My God I had to cross the room & stand right in front of the TV just to read them!

Why would they do that?! Plus, the film itself could have benefited from some subtitles.
The accents were so thick, I had to jack the volume way up just to try to understand.

"Didn't he discover America?"
"Penfold, shush."

also translating subtitles would of helped, didn't understand what was going on after she watched the film...
