To try and catch a boat being swept down stream. You really would have done that without a camera crew there?
shareI think Zuray went into the cold water because of the camera crew. They are the ones that set his boat adrift!
They waited till he wasn't looking and pushed his boat into the current then said something like "hey, your boat is drifting away".
He had to, everything was in - his rifle & survival pack etc etc. He also knew it would quickly be taken down the river & be gone - as he knew when it hit the dry part it wouldn't stay long bc of the current & it didn't. He's been there over 40 years, I think he knows all the ins & outs of what will happen & he doesn't have the luxury of loosing his boat, rifle & gear w/out trying to save it!
shareYeah, he felt humiliated by the whole affair. Poor guy. Refused to talk about it he was in such a mess. If you couldn't see this, you cant read people.
