I thought the script was actually good...

I work at a management firm and read the script a few months ago when they were casting the pilot. I was very surprised at how much I actually enjoyed it (I'm usually pretty picky since I'm a writer myself), but apparently all the footage that's been produced has been terrible. Wonder what got lost in translation. Have to admit when I saw Brandon T. Jackson in the lead I thought that was a bad sign. But the script I read was very funny and featured a lot of Eddie Murphy! I was surprised to hear CBS hadnt picked it up.
