Actual painting forgery skills **Spoilers**
I was worried that this film was only about a man and his dying son, but I was gratified to see that they spent some quality time doing the forgery, and it was convincing how he painted it and getting an old canvas and pure paints, etc. As a painter, I really appreciated that. The only issue has to do with baking the painting, which I'd like to see how they get that "cracking", because that is by far the hardest thing to imitate, because crackling from age looks a lot different than oven-crackling.
But who cares. Pretty decent movie and good drama.
