The 'Michael Jackson Phenomenon'?

Watching this documentary, I have the impression that the Williams sister's experience is somewhat like that of Michael Jackson. Both had overbearing, obsessive fathers who drove them to success at a young age, while profiting greatly themselves. It seems that both the Williams sisters and Jacko were robbed of their childhoods.

The pathology of Jackson was far worse, but seeing the sisters behave as adults, its almost like they are still children, except on the tennis court. Its as though they are living the childhood they never had.

I realize its not PC and terribly racist to say anything negative about the Williams family, but seriously folks, can we at least comment on this documentary?

Its funny how the master manipulator Richard Williams has brow beaten the tennis media into ignoring his own transgressions. Notice the quote from Arnon Milchan, where he says Richard Williams is just a ladies man and one woman is not enough for him. So its alright for him to have children with a bunch of different women, but this same behavior is condemned as one of the reasons that so many African Americans remain mired in poverty.

PS, The sisters pulled their support for the documentary at the last moment. They had planned to make an appearance at the Toronto opening. They said they had a problem with hoe their father was portrayed. Really!?? I smell pimp daddy Williams at work again.
